And the Christians took the statue of the Savior and placed it in a church, but the one of Julian, a fire coming down from heaven consumed.
And in Nicopolis of Palestine, at Emmaus, there is a spring, a healing for all kinds of afflictions of both men and cattle; for in it they say that our Lord and God washed his feet from his journey. In Hermopolis of the Thebaid stands a persea tree; if someone should take a leaf or a chip of it, it is a cure for every disease; which
