the mystagogue of heavenly things? Did you hear Christ speaking through him and teaching men what kind of people are those who have believed in him and who show their faith by their works? Therefore, do not doubt any longer. If you are a Christian, just as Christ is heavenly, so also must you be. But not being such a one, (334) how will you be called a Christian? For if just as the Master is heavenly, he also says that those who have believed in him are such, that is, entirely heavenly, all those who think worldly things, all those who live according to the flesh, are not of the God the Word who came down from above, but entirely of the earthy man who was formed from the earth. Think thus, hold this, believe this, and seek to become such a heavenly person, as he said who came from the heavens and gives life to the world. This is also the bread, the one coming down from there, which those who eat never see death at all; for being heavenly, they will certainly be so forever, having put off corruption, and having put on incorruption, having cast away death and having clung to life. Οὕτω φρόνει, οὕτως ἔχε, οὕτω πίστευε, καί ζήτει ἵνα γένησαι τοιοῦτος ἐπουράνιος, ὡς εἶπεν ὁ ἐξ οὐρανῶν φοιτήσας καίδιδούς ζωήν τῷ κόσμῳ.
