Greek Anaphora

«It is worthy and just, O our God, to give thanks to you unceasingly for all your benefits which you have bestowed upon us, first, that you sent to us from heaven your holy child, who shares the throne of your kingdom, your co-eternal son, God the Word, who 299 having come in the last days, having taken our humanity, the Word having become flesh without undergoing change, through the Holy Spirit having the flesh and intelligent soul of a man and all that is of man except sin, not as dwelling in some man, but himself wholly God the Word perfectly made man, not altering the humanity, not existing as two, but one king, one Christ, one Lord in divinity and humanity, unconfusedly and indivisibly confirming the divine and the human nature by the divine signs and the human passions, being about to come to the voluntary and glorious and life-giving death for us, taking bread in his holy and pure hands and showing it to you, God and Father, having given thanks, having blessed, having sanctified, he gave it to his disciples, the holy apostles, saying: Take, eat, this is my body which is broken for you for the remission of sins. Likewise after supper, taking a cup and mixing it from two elements, from the fruit of the vine and water, he sealed a cup of immortality and gave it to his disciples, saying: Drink of it, all of you, this is my blood of the new covenant which is shed for you and for many for the remission of sins». «That this bread, being changed, may become the body of Christ, a divine body, a saving body for souls and bodies, and that which is mixed in this cup may likewise become the blood of Christ, the blood of the new covenant, a saving blood it is for us, so that we may all partake of your holy mysteries in newness of spirit and not in oldness of the letter».
