On the Faith against the Arians (fragments)

63 For the man of Christ has become for us the beginning of the most beautiful ways of righteousness, leading us to the better practices. He fittingly adapts to the Spirit, guides into paradise, restores to his own pasture. Therefore Christ also said: I am the way and the truth and the life. So by the name of the way he indicates the human covering, which is of things bodily and visible; for the way is a certain part of the earth and has been established as a perceptible ground; but the name of the truth and of the life, the nature of the Father; for truth is an intelligible thing, subject neither to eyes nor to touch.

De fide contra Arianos (fragmenta)
