Epistula ad Philippum monachum

Of the holy Gregory, bishop of Nyssa, from the epistle to Philip the monk.

Those things that are consubstantial possess identity; but those things that are of a different substance the contrary. For even if

by an ineffable union both are one, but not in nature, because of the unconfusedness. Christ, therefore, being of two natures, but is truly known in them. has a single person of sonship.

Epistula ad Philippum monachum
