And I am the cause of this for you, who confined you with such an invincible thing." And 1.244 Araspas, interrupting, said, "But you, O Cyrus, are even 1.244 in these matters gentle and forgiving of human errors, but other men crush me with grief. For my enemies rejoice over me, and my friends advise me to get out of the way, lest I suffer something at your hands."
